《Mission Impossible》为什么译名「碟中谍」？
《碟中谍》是上译的译名。我个人觉得算是国内引进大片的片名翻译中排名前三甲的翻译（《盗梦空间》算另一个），基本做到了“信、达、雅”的标准。 （“碟中谍”这个译名整体感觉偏老派一些，类似“魂断蓝桥”一类的。但考虑到第一部MI引进时的国内文化环境，这个译名可以说是当时最好的了。对第一部MI剧情有了解的朋友，大多数都会觉得“碟中谍”这个译名很传神。） 后来，就是约定俗成了。这个系列的4部都引进国内了，所以续集肯定都沿用第一部的译名了。 （内地的中文电影片名都偏好三个字或四个字的片名，主要是琅琅上口，便于传播。这和不同的流行文化背景有关系吧。） zhihu
