It is spoken by about 2,700 in the southeast of Yunnan province in the southwest China, in particular in Guangnan (广南) and Xichou (西畴) counties in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture (文山州). It is spoken by Bugan people of all ages.
