stereomould, v.
  (ˈstɛriːəʊˌməʊld)
  [f. stereo- + mould v., after stereotype: cf. stereo n.]
  trans. To stereotype by casting in a mould. So ˈstereomould n., ‘a mould used in stereotyping’ (Cent. Dict. 1891).

By this expression is meant that the strip of lead is made into a beautiful stereotype mould.
