The compound 1 - (o - allyloxyphenoxy) - 3 - isopropylamino -2-propanol, C15H23NO3, which is an adrenergic blocking agent used mainly (in the form of the white crystalline hydrochloride) in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia, angina and hypertension.
