1552 Huloet s.v. Preiudice..It may be as the ruled cases and matters of the lawe be called bokecases. 1640–4 in Rushw. Hist. Coll. iii. (1692) I. 597 Book-Cases and Precedents, which without doubt they would have cited. 1726 Ayliffe Parerg. 204, I have not met with any Book-Case, that expressly warrants this opinion.
