  A sulphide of silver, copper, lead, and arsenic, (Ag,Cu)2Pb6As4S13, occurring as steel-grey blade-shaped crystals.

1904 Nature 1 Dec. 118/2 Mr. R. H. Solly exhibited and described various minerals from the Lengenbach quarry, Binnenthal. Three of these were new, viz. marrite and bowmanite..and lengenbachite. 1944 Trans. R. Soc. Canada XXXVIII. iv. 59 An x-ray study of lengenbachite shows that this mineral is monoclinic. 1969 Mineral. Abstr. XX. 227/2 Lengenbachite gave space group P1 or P - / 1 , lattice constants of a subcell a{p} 35·10 {pm} 0·03, b{p} 5·75 {pm} 0·01, c{p} 36·92 {pm} 0·03Å, α{p} ∼ 90°, β{p} 92°35{p}, γ{p} ∼ 90°.
