1. Wearing or furnished with an ocrea, greave, or legging; booted.
2. Ornith. Booted: having the tarsal envelope fused into a continuous ocrea or boot, as in Sundevall's group of Birds, Ocreatæ, containing the thrushes, nightingales, redbreasts, etc.
3. Bot. Having the stipules united by cohesion into a sheath surrounding the stem.
