LXXX. i. 88 The author has isolated salazinic acid and picrolichenin from Pertusaria amara. 1958 Svensk Kem. Tidskr. LXX. 129 The bitter principle isolated by Alms from this lichen—‘Picrolichenin’—was claimed to be useful as a remedy in the treatment of malaria, and this is now being checked.
