  A whitish powder that is a derivative of phenothiazine and has actions and uses similar to, but stronger than, those of chlorpromazine, being used as a sedative and anti-emetic and in the treatment of alcoholism; 2-chloro-10-{ob}3-[4-(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazin-1-yl]propyl{cb}phenothiazine, C21H26N3OClS.
