hypocycloid

hypocycloid Geom.
  (hɪpəʊ-, haɪpəʊˈsaɪklɔɪd)
  [f. hypo- 2 + cycloid. Cf. F. hypocycloïde.]
  A curve traced by a point in the circumference of a circle which rolls round the interior circumference of another circle (cf. epicycloid).
