ˈsiphonet Ent.
  [f. siphon n. + -et1.]
  A small siphon or tube by which an aphis emits a sweet, honey-like fluid; a honey-tube. Now rare or Obs., siphunculus (q.v., sense 2) or more commonly cornicle being used instead.
