  A Brazilian shrub, Paullinia sorbilis; a paste prepared from the seeds of this shrub, which is used for food and medicine. Also guarana-bread, guarana-paste.

The seeds of this plant furnish the Guarana bread so highly esteemed by the natives of Brazil.
