  combining form of miniature a. (reinforced by the first letters of minimum a.), used to designate things that are very small of their kind.
  A prefix much in vogue from the 1960s. Only a selection from the virtually unlimited number of combs. is illustrated here. The examples are arranged in alphabetical order of the combs. for convenience of reference.
