  A pedal organ-stop having wooden pipes in the form of an inverted pyramid, and producing very deep tones.

1876 J. Hiles Catech. Organ ix. (1878) 63 Pyramidon, a Pedal stop of 16 or 32 feet-tone. 1881 C. A. Edwards Organs 156 [The] Pyramidon has been mentioned in some works, but it was found impracticable to make this stop answer throughout the entire scale, and it therefore is abandoned.
