chondroitic acid [tr. G. chrondroitsäure (C. Boedeker 1861, in Ann. d. Chemie CXVII. 111)], (see quot. 1944).
1885 Jrnl. Chem. Soc. XLVIII. 405 Bödeker found that on boiling cartilage with mineral acid, a substance was obtained, which he named chondroitic acid...
