    Outward rotation of a part of the body, esp. of the eye.

(ed. 2) xiv. 578 The inferior rectus..rotates the eye in such a way that the upper extremity of the vertical meridian is depressed to the outside (extorsion). 1964 S. Duke-Elder Parsons' Dis.
