pseudo-archaic, a.

  Having the appearance or profession of being ancient, but not really so; artificially archaic in style, language, etc. So pseudo-ˈarchaism, false or artificial archaism; pseudo-ˈarchaist, one who invents or uses sham archaisms, esp. in language.
