Euston Road
(ˈjuːstən ˈrəʊd)
The name of a road in London, site of a short-lived School of Drawing and Painting (1938–39), used attrib. or absol. to designate a group of English post-Impressionist realistic painters of the late 1930s or their type of art. Hence Euˈstonian, ˈEuston ˈRoader, a member or follower of this group.
