sarah from average betty here and i'm making white chocolate macadamia nut cookies sweet and salty chewy and crunchy white chocolate macadamia nut cookies are pretty much cookie nirvana not to mention they're totally my favorite my numero uno my cookie bff or would that be bcf whatever they're totally delicious let's make white chocolate macadamia nut cookies this is butter this is white sugar and brown sugar getting this good and creamy if you don't have an electric mixer just use some extra muscle this is baking soda salt and vanilla get that combined and here are the eggs now add the flour these are white chocolate chips technically these are just white baking chips not really chocolate per se i wouldn't lie to you you could throw the macadamia nuts in here too if you're trying to take the easy way out i like to handle the nuts a little differently and here's the dough it's buttery rich and creamy this dough needs to chill in the fridge for several hours or the freezer if you need a quicker cookie fix get the lid on here and into the fridge here are the roasted and salted macadamia nuts these are from australia good eye nuts macadamia nuts are most commonly from hawaii but these are a little easier for me to get my hands on the idea here is to chop the macadamia nuts you can do this with a knife or a food processor or you can beat the nuts with a rolling pin until they break apart if you have grumpy neighbors i'd recommend chopping your nuts with a knife after the dough is chilled use a teaspoon to get a small amount of dough into a ball press the balls into the chopped nuts this makes sure there's a good dusting of nuts on each cookie then place them on a cookie sheet i'm going to pop these into my preheated oven and when they're done they look like this total cookie nirvana get the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies recipe at averagebetty.com i hope you try my white chocolate macadamia nut cookies soon sweet and salty chewy and crunchy they might become your bcf too find me on facebook and twitter and you can always drop by my home at averagebetty.com thanks for watching and subscribing see you next time um my childhood
