what is going on guys John here for another video and today we are checking out a DIY recipe for Baja blast now I know they sell it but it's kind of sparingly and they kind of sell it in different locations and seasonally and it's kind of hard to get sometimes so this is a recipe that I found on Facebook really complicated recipes so on I would definitely study this up a while so you cannot mess this up because it is really really complicated what it is is drum roll please 75% Mountain Dew and 25% blue Gatorade or Powerade so I know so what we got here is we got an authentic beverage of Baja blast from the old Taco Bell and then we have a glass with a straw and we have some Powerade I'm not gonna shake this one out and now we have some Mountain Dew so let's get to mixing and do a little sippy sippy from each and see if it tastes anything like Baja blast I'm a little a little skeptical here so let's do a little bit of a mountain Dew and so they said 25% Baja blast so like two there we'll do the blue stuff boom exactly 25% so we will set these aside give it a little stir here got a little bit of ice in there to cool it off all right so homemade baja blast authentic baja blast let's see if it's actually true here we go so good I love baja blast all right moment of truth brah yeah not really that bubbly its add some more do and see kind of kind of it does yeah it really does um definitely you need more Mountain Dew than 75% it's more like a splash of Gatorade I would say because um if you had too much Gatorade or Powerade it just kind of makes it not really that carbonated at all and it just kind of overpowers that with this blue flavor um but I guess if you're really in a pinch in your fiendin for some baja blast this would definitely make the grade you know maybe if you were like half asleep and you just woke up you're like Baja blast please and you tried you wouldn't know the difference but um I would definitely just uh go with the tried and true so there you go guys there's your knockoff ghetto version of Baja blast thank you very much for watching this video guys give it a thumbs up if you liked it and until next time I'll see you later
