Please explain how to repair ikea® white stain furniture - mohawk 3 in 1 repair stick

hi I'm Tasha and today I'm going to show you a quick and easy way to repair IKEA furniture using Mohawks three-in-one repair stick Mohawks three-in-one repair stick is easy to use there's different parts to it this is the leveling cap under the leveling cap is the fill stick and on the other side is the paint marker so you want to shake your pen to ensure that the paint is really well mixed you want to do it for about 30 seconds after you've done that you want to depress the tip to release any gasses and then just grab a rag or cloth and depress the tip until you see the paint start flowing and then it is ready to use so today I'm working with a piece of IKEA furniture in a white stain finish which is a really really common finish and you can see that there is an imperfection here it's removed some of the finish and there's also some depth to it so that's what I want to repair I'm going to start by filling in the scratch with the marker side and you can blend that with your finger then I'm gonna flip it over and use my fill stick you're going to want to hold it at about a 45 degree angle and rub it over the surface until the depth is fully filled so you want to err on the side of overfilling as opposed to under filling once you're sure it's been filled in just replace the cap and use the leveling tool that's built into the cap to remove any excess and you can see I still have a little bit of color that needs to be replaced so I'm just gonna use the marker again to go over it and again blend it with your finger and if there's any wax residue left film from the fill stick around the edges just buff it off with a cloth be careful not to go directly over the repair because you don't want to inadvertently remove some of the material or paint that you have just used to touch it up and about a minute later it's as good as new
