hey y'all welcome back this is going to be a relatively short video and all it is it's just a little trick that I've been using for quite a while to help me cut burlap so that it doesn't fray everywhere if you know like if you make wreaths or whatnot then you know like if you cut your burlap you get like all these little tiny pieces flying around everywhere because it's almost impossible to cut a straight edge but the way I do it is first you want to determine where you want to cut of course and let's say I want to cut right across here so I'm gonna pick one of the little little threads the pieces that run this way I'm going to pick which one of those I want to be my edge and then I'm just going to clip it right there at the edge okay just that one little stream right there and now you want to just pick at it and just pull it out all the way across see just like I'm doing right there now if your burlap is woven but more tightly than mine is you can use a sewing needle to help pick it out or I've got my weeding tool for my cricket here you know just to help pick it out but you just want that one little piece that one thread picked out all the way across so I'm gonna do that and we'll pause the video and then I'll come back and I'll show you what to do okay now I've got that one piece pulled out and as you can see it made kind of like a wide gap right there that's where you're going to cut see right there you just want to cut down the center of that wide gap right there now this is not going to stop it from fraying completely okay it's just gonna help you to get you know like a straighter line then you would like if you just tried to cut it you know without doing that like I said it helps a lot it doesn't stop it completely but it just really really helps you to get a nice even straight edge without all those little particles flying around you know it helps me a lot and I hope it helped you so if you would give this video a thumbs up click subscribe check me out on other forms of social media the links to all of those are in the description box down below and I hope to see y'all next time but I
