how are you guys doing so glad to have you popping on here it's been a few days since I've done a periscope so I thought it was about time to hop on here and give you guys some of my tips for inviting people to classes hey miele green hey guys thanks for the hearts already I just got back from an awesome mastermind in Orlando Florida it was a network Marsh network marketing mastermind event and it was it was incredible it was so good I learned so many good tips for doTERRA and for sharing and for you know promoting and selling and because that's what we do we sell right we're afraid to say that though so hey guys thanks for popping on here if you are brand new to my scopes Thank You Jen I did a little actually I did a little nothing with it today it's kind of I just woke up and boom it's always good to do that hey Nicole thanks so much for sharing and inviting your teams I love that thank you so much um my name is Jackie Ritz I am founder of the paleo mama blog and I'm also a blue diamond in doTERRA I've been a part of doTERRA now for three years I actually just got my peppermint oil this month because that meant it was my three-year renewal so how many other companies give you a peppermint oil when you renew your membership isn't that awesome so I went to this awesome Network Marc network marketing mastermind try to say those words together it's actually really hard in Orlando and it was so good I was able to see my family and also hang out with some of my team for a few days and it wasn't doTERRA it wasn't just doTERRA which I actually really liked I loved hearing from other direct sale businesses and how they do things it actually has always been a fascination of mine in fact I see currently an M in certain groups like you unique and lularoe and I love just seeing how they share and how they sell so I got a lot of good tips from this mastermind but one of the my biggest takeaways is what I want to share with you guys today and that is a realization of why our invitations suck and these are the invitations that we use when we invite somebody to a class so how many of us have ever gotten to know put hearts on there put some hearts on the screen if you've ever gotten a know when you've invited somebody to a class oh goodness so many knows right I celebrate my nose because I know that that I have to get through about ten knows to get one yes so when I get a no I'm like yes that's it that's another no I'm gonna keep going I'm gonna get to my next yes all right let's go let's get it done so I love my nose because it means I'm getting closer to my next yes so that took a whole mindset mindset shift for me and and I hope that you guys have gotten to that point as well where it's just a total shift of your mindset instead what happens a lot of the times is we get that no and we stop we get so disappointed by that know that we stop doing what we've been doing those income-producing activities right we stop doing them and we miss out on something huge i there's been so many stories I've heard of somebody who's done that they've stopped and all of a sudden you know they've missed out on something huge so celebrate those nose and get better at getting a yes so that's what I want to share with you today is I want to teach you guys what I learned some tips on getting better at getting that yes so there's this awesome book called the four color personalities for MLM whoo naughty we're naughty we're at MLM for color personalities and it is a it's unbelievable what this book has done for my business in just a short few days that I've heard that I've actually learned about this book but Tom's rider Schreiber big L is the author of it and he spoke at the Orlando mastermind and his book is about the four personalities that's the color personalities of people and so I want to go over these four personalities with you the reason why knowing these personalities is so important because our whole way that we invite somebody to a class if this it affects this greatly and I'm going to show you guys why ok so there's four different personalities there's yellow personality there's a blue personality there's red personalities and then there's green personalities and if you want to grab a pen and paper you can write these down if you want to share this to your own time line or message it to yourself so you have it for later go right ahead okay yellow personality people let's talk about this yellow personality people are it's right in my face are people who love helping others they just get satisfaction from helping other people they just want to help them they have no idea what the compensation plan is all about and in fact if you ask them when they just start getting started they're they're gonna tell you don't worry about that they they're one-word if you if you want to learn one word in their language its help they love helping they are the Cinderella's they're the hippies they're the massage therapists they're the chiropractors they are the energy workers they're the coaches okay these are the people's that love helping others it's in their blood they also they don't want to offend anybody okay they don't want to offend they don't want offend you if they're on your upline or your downline they don't want to hurt your feelings so it's really really hard for them to make decisions okay they can't it's really hard for them to make a decision in their business or in their you know whatever they're doing because they don't want to offend anybody else like I said they're not worried about the compensation plan they're doing doTERRA or they're doing whatever they're doing to simply help other people and when we talk to them we need to talk to them in a way that we are speaking their language and we want to invite these people in a way that we're speaking their language alright so how would we go about inviting a yellow person to our class it's easy I think yellow people are the easiest people for me to invite to my class if you guys have any comments throw them up and how would you invite a yellow person to your essential oil class anybody have any comments I'll give you guys my tips all right so the way that you invite a yellow person to your class is you talk all about the products and how they help how they help you how they've helped other people you pull out those third person's stories empowering you to help your kids absolutely how do these products can help others would you like to find out how to help them are you interested in learning how to help you and others that is exactly right this is how you invite a yellow person to the class guess what else this person is always extremely interested in Co impact sourcing and Healing Hands you guys need to have these ready to pull out for the yellow people that you come in contact with Co impact sourcing what it's doing what essential oils what doTERRA is doing around the world with our oils and the way that we source them and if you don't know it's okay it's just a few youtube videos just go look at them on the doTERRA youtube page okay also the Healing Hands how much has Healing Hands given to different charities what are they doing with human children and sex trafficking right now right the oh you are it's amazing that is well how you're going to get a yellow person to your class that is how you would invite them to your class you would tell them you know hi Susie I know you are super busy I just a quick second I have a class on Friday and I'd want to know if you would come and learn more about essential oils these have really helped me blah blah blah how have they helped you state it right then and there and I think these could help you okay that is how you invite a yellow person to a class okay so keep that in mind how many of you here are a yellow person tap the screen if you're a yellow person I'm tapping cuz this is me I'm a yellow person and I have tried to invite blue and red and greens in my class and it just does not work so lots of yellow people yes Nicole absolutely I can totally see that you're a nurse I mean that's your profession is helping other people okay so lots of yellow people here all right let's talk about the blue people okay this is my husband blue people love to have fun they're so active they love being around other people they love meeting new people that if you're not sure yet just listen to all of them and you'll you'll know by the end they love meeting new people they love going to meetings they love being invited they love knowing that they are the life of the party they can't stop talking okay these are the people that bring the most people to your classes though okay these are they're gonna bring the most people to your classes they have a very short attention span and a really bad thing about them not bad but you know they can improve on they're great at talking but they're not very good at listening they can't afford to slow down they just have to keep going they got so much going on so many people to see so much coffee to drink with somebody they just can't slow down these are the people that do something before they know anything they'll jump into being a builder on your team with even knowing what they're doing okay because they'd get to be around other people another negative or you know something that they can approve is it's hard they don't follow up very well because they're too busy meeting new people tap the screen if you're a blue person who in here is a blue person anybody anybody a blue person come on I know we got to have some on this scope so how would we invite a blue person to our classes how would we invite a blue person to our classes it's much different than the way that we would invite a yellow the way that we would fight a blue person is we would say hey we're we're getting together there's a bunch of people coming together and we're gonna have a lot of fun and we'd love to have you there because we know that you love having fun and you're gonna get a chance to meet new people all right that is how you invite a blue person to your class yes there's going to be so much fun they'll all be drawing for yes let's have a ladies night that's right they don't like no that's right now they don't like one-on-ones they love being in a group setting they don't want to be with just you all right they want to be around a lot of other people so you guys this is why it's important we wouldn't invite a yellow person to our class the same way that we would invite a blue person and another reason why this is important is because it's so important to get to know that person that you're inviting before you invite them all right ask them about their family asking about what they do just from one conversation with somebody and we had this we had to get together with someone we didn't know for two minutes at the mastermind and I talked to somebody and I knew right away I know what she was and so just talk to them first before you invite them and you're gonna know the best way to invite that personality all right so we got a red personality and as well oh good I'm so glad essentially Sophia so a red personality this person is the boss they love telling other people what to do they're the bottom line people they get it done they want to know the bottom line and they're all about the money they love making money okay they're all about numbers and they are organizers they could or get organized your whole house business and one sit down they've got calendars and stickies and planners all over the place these are the people that scare me but they also make the most money they really do they get things done they love competition and they love recognition and I don't know if you guys have builders like this on your team I also think this is so so beneficial and knowing the personalities of our builders not just the people we're inviting to our classes but also yes Nicole yes they scare me too I'm a yellow so they scare me um they don't listen to you very well because they're always right they don't need to listen to you I mean your suggestions are not very welcomed but they are amazing builders in doTERRA all right they have a lot to offer as a leader there are leaders and they can get it done they get their goals they reach their rank and they they are amazing at that so if you're if you're a red tap the screen if you're a red and got any red and some threads in here any Reds come on come on you gotta admit it there we go there's some Reds okay so how would you invite a red person to your class how would you invite a red person to your class anybody got any tips for that I got some tips for you so the way that you could invite a red person to your class is is you want to bring out that organization that it's going to be you know an organized class you absolutely could lead with the business opportunity with these people and that if you are it you would have to talk to them in different ways so if you are talking about the business opportunity in my opinion that would be extremely easy but if you're inviting them to a class for me this is what is so hard because I am not this at all so for me the way that I would invite them to a class is I would just say but I mean their bottom line people hey we're having a class on Friday and I'm going to be talking about essential oils I'd love for you to come and learn more about my my business and I'd also just love for you to come and listen and see if it's a good business opportunity and what you think about it um I'm not see like I said that's that's not that good because I'm not that good at inviting a red person yet I'm actually working on it but you don't want it I can tell you what you don't want to do you don't want to say to these people hey we're gonna have a ton of fun there's gonna be a ton of people there and I'm gonna be telling you guys all about how you can help other people using essential oils alright so you definitely don't want to say something like that be upfront with them about what to expect that's absolutely right Nicole the biggest fear is losing control we want to have choices and talk about the results that's right so you talk about the results with this red person all right what has changed what has happened what maybe even like before-and-after third-person stories something that's changed with using the oils you know how is your health changed if you could show them you know before and after how it's changed even better they loved seeing it so that is how you would invite a red person to your class and it's very similar with inviting them to the business opportunity these people need to see it they need to see the compensation plan how it works get to the point show them how they're gonna make money and launch them alright because they're gonna run once you do so the last one yes red wants to hear it's worth their time and that they will get results that's absolutely right so green person people these are the ones that I'm awkward around I just they make me very awkward or like third awkward to me so it's really hard for me to invite them but I've learned how to them um these are the really boring not boring but they're just they're accountants they're engineers they're a little socially challenged they're introverts they don't have much emotion they are very good at weighing the pros and cons of something they give long presentations and they might be a little dry they are research oriented they want to know the numbers they want to know all the research they need all the information of something they are the most loyal people on your team though and they are the people that you want to have on your side they don't get started right away in the business it takes them a while to kind of get their feet wet and to expand everything and know what the pros and cons are they're very analytical they cannot be pushed they have to figure it all out on their own because they need all the information and they need to absorb it they need to think about it for a long time they don't make rash decisions like yellow people they they have to completely really make sure that they weigh it the biggest fear is making mistakes that's right so how do we invite a green person how do we invite a green personality to a class do you think that going to a green person and telling them that there's so many people gonna be there and they're gonna have a ton of fun and they're gonna get a chance to meet new people and you know do you think that's gonna be good for them absolutely not these are introverts you're gonna scare them they want to sit in the back of the room and just watch you and if you call on them they'll walk out and Eve all right so you got to make sure that you know this beforehand and one-on-ones absolutely they might not even come to a class though probably gonna tell you no but if you sit down one-on-one with them they'll be more open to listening and hearing more about what you have going on or the class all right these are like I said these are people that they just want to absorb and I do agree one on ones would be the best for green people so it doesn't matter what color you are it matters what color your prospect is so I you know it's it's great to kind of figure out what color our builders are what color that people on our team are and what color we are but that's really not important okay what's important is what color your customer your prospect is because it's all in how you invite them and if you're inviting them because you're a blue person who loves to have fun and you talk so fast and they're they're a yellow person and they have no idea what you're saying and they don't care about making money they want to know more about how you source and how you're helping and you know what's going on with your charities you're gonna lose these people so really really figure out what your prospect is before you even go to invite them how do you attract diversity and color types on oh I'm sorry I I missed it do you attract mostly yellows absolutely I attract mostly yellows and I have got to get better at diversifying my color and because it doesn't matter what I am like I said it matters how what they are and on social media on face to face in the store and my classes that I'm doing I need to make sure that I am a he rainbow I have to be a rainbow I've got to be able to relate to everyone not just yellows I love yellows I love what they love helping other people but I want Red's on my team I don't want people that are to go after and can keep me organized and on my toes you know I want people who are greens on my team I want them doing the research and sharing it with me and sharing it with our teams and keeping the numbers straight for me because yes I am a yellow squiggle too so I hope that this helps you guys in the book again is the four color personalities for MLM and it's by Tom Schreiber also known as Big Allen and loved his presentation this was my biggest takeaway probably from the mastermind actually my big my bigger takeaway I'll probably do another scope on it was how I need to stop looking for builders I loved it it completely transformed my my way of thinking because builders are within builders are within your organization already they just don't know they're builders I mean how many of us here just listening to this scope was a customer first you did not join because you wanted to start a business you joined because you were looking for a pure quality essential oil that you wanted to use in your home on your kids on your farm wherever and you joined because you wanted something that you could trust so that was me that was probably 90% of builders now is that we joined as customers and you looking for builders all on the outside you're missing a huge network of builders that could be on the inside of your team and in the way that we find builders within our team it's super simple you just educate you share more about oils you tell them how to use them you do demos you do Facebook lives you show them how to wash their face with coconut oil and myrrh you show them how to make deodorant you just you just keep saturating them with ways of using the oils and they're gonna fall in love with them they're gonna start talking about them somebody's gonna ask how to buy them they're gonna say I have no idea let me talk let me call Jackie and all of a sudden you're gonna make your first paycheck and that's how it begins for most of us so I'll probably do a scope on that because that's a completely different subject so that's it for today
