in this video I'm going to show you how to remove a pinion bearing for starters you're going to need a bearing puller and separator set you picked out an auto parts store or any tool stores all right we're going to cut these the race cage or the bearing cage off I use a strong pair of wire cutters use whatever you feel comfortable with in one of the grooves the one off this piece of pull this out put that out of there out of your way cut the bottom piece out open up the cage use a magnet rollers we just have the the bearing it's not the race but the bearing casing where you want to call it now we're to get our puller set I'm going to put a washer up here and I'm not read i'm not reusing this well I'm gonna act like I am so in order to save the threads here install smash because like I said I'm replacing this but if you were going to reuse this put this on top like so if you wanted extra added security put a your pinion nut on back one and then put this on top or there's many options you get though this is my option now we're going to set up the tool we use the large bearing tool so you get a 1 there you want to get it so it's I'll show you in a second you want to get it to this one out lip like so skip all right now you need this piece out of the bearing puller set and we're going to need extensions going here like so I put these in hand tight you better angle its lift you up alright now we got this all hooked up pull these off see nuts you just put one off let's put our washer back on and fell off in the process just facing the tool in alright knowing in tight knees this end will Center it with that washer under center of opinion okay that's centered make sure everything is lined up here we go his comments leave shortly and that my friend is is how you get a pinion bearing off thanks for watching please comment below you
