Please explain how to decorate a hanging twig tree for christmas

Hello, in the previous video I showed you
how to make our twig tree and today we're going to show you how to decorate it. So here we have our glue gun, which we're
going to use to attach most of the things to our tree. We have the lights which we're going to thread
through it and over here we have a selection of teasels, little gold baubles or whatever
colour you prefer. We've got some dried out orange slices with
some sparkle on them. We have pine cones, we have raffia, we have
brown wired string which is really handy for attaching things if you want to wire them
in. We have some gold paint, or again any other
colour that you choose, and we have ribbon. I've also got sellotape and scissors if we
need them, and if you're using spikey things like teasels then you might find you want
some gloves. So the first thing we're going to do is thread
our little battery powered lights through the tree to give it some light, and these
are star shaped, these lights 2 m long and they're powered by 3 AA batteries and they're
available widely. So we take our stars and very simply thread
them from one side to the other. You can go round the A frame or you can go
through it, I prefer to go round it because it actually frames it. So now we're going to start attaching our
ornaments to our tree. And I'm going to start with teasels and I'm
wearing gloves because they're extremely prickly; I've got 3 which we've already wired together
and I'm going to attach those to the bottom corner. So now I'm going to take some orange slices
and just glue those a little further up. So now I'm going to start to stick baubles
on the tree, and I've stuck these together in groups of 3. And I'm going to stick the first set here. So now I'm going to take 3 orange slices and
glue those together and place them in the centre of the tree. So now I'm going to add some teasels into
the rest of the tree. Because I'm going to let this one stand I'm
just going to hide the little battery pack on whatever surface that the little tree'll
be stood on, and that can be hidden out of the way by something, you can use some greenery
or you could if you want to hang it then you can tape it on and maybe put a bow around
it or wire some greenery into the bottom of it. either way it's very easy to disguise. You can also use this to hang cards on, Christmas
cards on, if you get some little pegs. And you can also use hedgerow things from
a woodland walk or from a Lakeland walk to decorate it with. It really can be as reasonably priced or as
expensive as you want to make it, but it doesn't cost a lot.
