hey this is keith from blur.bz this is a beautiful nikon 70-210 f4 from the 80s i guess it's a series e lens great for uh nikon even modern icon many of nikon better end cameras can use this happily sony fuji mirrorless cameras but here's the problem that's very very common with these lenses because it has this push sliding pull mechanism to do the zoom gravity sets in and that just you're taking a shot you're lined up you lean forward a little bit and it just moves by itself it's called zoom creep super simple fix it's not particularly elegant but it absolutely works piece of electrical tape i'm going there's the front of the lens so i'm just going along the back edge i'm going right up to the barrel long base there we go that's it um if it's really bad i feel smooth it feels feels great now if it's really bad you might also want to put a strip from the top to the other end but if it's not crazy bad just one strip will do and you are done and you have a fully usable beautiful vintage lens have a good day
