I'm going to make a bow and for the holidays you can decorate your packages with it or so you can decorate a Christmas tree with it just starting out with a spool of ribbon this one's barred ribbon so it works like really good to move the ribbon around and bend it and it shapes really um so I'm just going to start with a little bit of florist wire to finish up with that's how I'll tied off in the end and that's how you can actually attach it to the tree as well with just a little piece of flores bar this is a 10 yard spool of ribbon so it's going to make a big bow you don't have to make one that large you don't have to start out with 10 yards either you can do something much smaller but i'll just start with that and just to get started just start out with just a small loop and then you'll just kind of pinch it with your fingers to pull it in that's going to be your starting point and then just start folding it and pitch and you'll do the same size fold the other direction and pinch it and you're holding it all together the key is just holding on to it really good and then bend the next direction again and you'll just go back and forth and just use these steps going a little bit larger each time so a little bit bigger this is a little bit easier to do because it's the same pattern it's a solid ribbon it's the same thing on both sides but if you've got a printed ribbon or one-sided ribbon then you actually have to turn it so that you always have the right side facing up I'm going to go a little bit bigger see I'm holding on to it nice and tight why you can see how its lair in small ones and the next I'm getting continuing to get a little bit bigger each time like I said if you want to do a small bow for a package this is plenty I'm going to go ahead and use the entire spools I want a big bow for maybe the top of the tree if it's hard to hold on to or you know you can always go ahead and take the floral wire and tie it you you already this Leah okay now i'm going to use my water just go right through the center you don't have to use wire if you're going to towel into a package you can even use another piece of the ribbon but the wire is really good if you're going to be putting it on the tree I could have made it a little bit longer okay then after you have it nice and secure I think I've got it there then you want to just take the ribbon and just start pulling it back and forth to open it up so it's not just two sided and the wired ribbon is great for that because you can like you skin see them opening it up go to the other side pull it we just had to keep pulling with it back and forth and fluff it and then you can take from additional ribbon or you could cut it off a little bit before you got to the end of the spool and tied it around it if you want tail on the the bow itself go bro
