my name is Noah and I'm going to show you how to set up your barn door bottom guide with your barn door so let's just first think about this so here we have our little guide that the barn door is going to slide on here we have our barn door of course and it sits right on there and so it's going to be hanging at the bottom here and that's where the barn door guide comes in and you're going to first want to figure out where you want to place this and you want to place it right in the middle between the edge of the door and then where the opening so use your going to have an opening like this where the door is going to slide over and cover that opening and so you want your barn door guide to be right in the middle where if the barn door is closed or open it will still be holding that bottom of the door from swinging off the wall the next thing that you're going to want to do is figure out how wide you want the distance to be between the two rollers that the barn door goes and slides through now to do this you'll probably just want to measure the width of the side of your barn door and then make the rollers just a little bit wider than that so the barn door can slide right through for the next part there's really two ways to do this and it just depends on what kind of tools that you have so you can loosen the nuts on the bottom and scoop both of the rollers to the far edge of the guide and so then if you have a small enough screw driver you can then screw in the screws into the wall that way or if your screwdriver doesn't fit you can completely take off the rollers so that you have plenty of room to use a screwdriver to screw the screws into the wall so whichever way works for you you can do that too then screw your barn door guide into the wall where you have decided to the right place for it now when doing this just make sure that you have enough space under your barn door guide for the nuts to fit you may want to put something underneath the barn door guide as you're growing it into the wall to help you make sure it's level and to do this correctly okay so after that you should be able to put your bond door back on the top slider and it should slide right through that bottom guide like a charm I hope this video was helpful to you if you have any other questions you can ask them in the comments below this video or you can ask them on the Amazon page if you want to buy this on Amazon you can find the link to it in the description I hope you enjoy your fashionable barn door
