Hi! Welcome to Fusion Beads. Today I'm going to show you how to make our Shimmer Drop Earrings. To make these earrings we're going to be using these Swarovski Crystal Shimmer Effect bicone beads and pendants. The Shimmer Effect is inspired by Swarovski's famous Aurora Borealis. And has a light reflecting finish that casts multiple shades of a single color. Okay, let's get started! To make these Shimmer Drop Earrings
you're going to need thirty 4 millimeter Black Diamond Shimmer Swarovski bicone beads forty- four 4 millimeter Erinite Shimmer Swarovski bicone beads two 16 millimeter Erinite Shimmer Swarovski Teardrops four 7 millimeter open jump rings French ear wires 8 crimp beads 8 crimp covers your Soft Flex beading wire, chain nose pliers, your crimping pliers, and your cutters. You can get all of the product links for
this piece in the description below. So first you're going to want to cut
four 5 inch lengths of your Soft Flex. And after you do that you're just gonna
want to take one of those lengths take a crimp bead and string it through. And then take one of your jump rings, put it through and then back around and back through your crimp bead. And that there's going to create a loop around the jump ring right there. And now you just want to make sure that your Soft Flex are lying parallel to each other. And you're gonna want to take your crimping pliers and place the crimp bead into the back notch of the pliers, just like that. And then you're going to want to squish the crimp bead. And you can see it squished it, down
one time, just like that. And you're going to want to turn it a quarter turn. And then place the crimp bead in this first notch here. Just like that. Then you're going to gently squish the crimp bead. And that will just fold that crimp bead over on itself, like that. So then you have one length secure, and you're going to want to take your cutters cut off the tail. And then from here you're going to
string 15 Black Diamond bicone beads. There are actually multiple colors you
can use in the Shimmer Effect but I liked how the Black Diamond and the Erinite go together. Ok. So we have ten, eleven, four more! Okay, so now you have fifteen. And now you're just going to want to do the same thing here with this other end of the Soft Flex. So take a crimp bead string that on there. Put it through the jump ring. Back around and through the crimp bead. That's just going to create how to make sure that the beads are right up against the jump ring. But leaving a little bit of space so it's
not too tight. The Soft Flex won't be too tight, that loop against the jump ring there. So you leave a little bit of space. And then once again, put the crimp bead
in the back notch of your crimping pliers. And squish the crimp bead. And then a quarter turn in the front notch. Squish it again. And just cut off the tail. Okay, and now you can see that that's secure on the jump ring like that and now I just want to add crimp bead covers. And so you're gonna put the crimp bead cover in this first notch. Just like that. You're gonna place the crimp bead inside that notch and you're just going to gently squeeze down or squeeze those ends together. And then once you do that you can see it looks just like a perfect little silver round
bead. I'm just going to do that one more time for the other side. Put the crimp bead in. Just give it a little squeeze. And there you have one little hoop for
the earring. I'm going to go ahead and do one more hoop on the outside here and I'm going to string 22 Erinite Shimmer beads and I'll be right back. Okay, so as you can see using that same
technique as before I added a second hoop here and it has 22 Erinite Shimmer beads. And now I just want to add the pendant to that center right here. So I'm going to take another jump ring. Using chain nose pliers, you're just
gonna open that jump ring up. And you're gonna attach your pendant and then you're gonna attach this jump ring to that jump ring there. Then take your chain nose pliers we'll close up your jump ring. Okay. So there you have your pendant right there, perfectly in the center. And now we just want to add our ear wire. So you want to open up the loop on your ear wire. And just attach that to the top of this jump ring, just
like that. And then close it up using chain nose pliers. And now you just want to
repeat that for the other earring. And you'll have a pair that will look great
dressed up or dressed down. And you can find the products and tools for these Shimmer Drop Earrings at FusionBeads.com.
