hi I'm Debbie Quinn Tana and I'm going to show you how to make this beautiful basket it's a VW's corporate basket kit so what's really awesome is if you look on their website in the very front page it'll say basket kit and in there you'll find corporate and this corporate has everything you need to make this basket that I'm going to show you right now super easy totally fast ready to go so I've got my basket I've already put paper in the bottom I've already built my back i glue dotted these items together just to give it some good stability and I'm going to put a little bit of shred in the front now you may want to do your shred differently some people like to do shred in the entire basket I just like to do just a little bit in front because this is really what the customer is going to see and using more than that can be wasteful however some gift basket professionals like to use the shred because it anchors the products down better onto the paper so it's up to you whatever your personal preference is okay so let's keep building um let's see here cookies and some more cookies I'm gonna do some pretzels peanuts these are the three hot chocolates and I just glue dot it once here and once here I don't want these to go everywhere so I'm not going to glue dot em any more than that but I'd like to keep them fanned so we're gonna do them like that water crackers perfect dry fruit hungry cheese mustard I've got a little bit of an opening right here so I'm picking my little perfect embellishment I'm going to put it right there and now you are done you've got a great corporate style basket ready to go in under three minutes and next I'm going to show you how to shrink wrap it so let's get started okay we're back now I have already put my basket in a shrink wrap bag but I wanted to tell you that there's several different ways to do this and it really depends on how you want to finish your gift so shrink wrap bags come in domes and the reason they come in domes is because they want to allow for this concept in the back to where you have a dome in the back you can put your seam here and do all of your wrapping underneath you could put your seam here and do all of your wrapping in the back or you could bag it grab it here and let the pouf come up it's all about what you personally want for your style the only thing that I'll caution you on is the pouf up here if it gets hot at all during the shrink process it's going to start to shrink the other thing is that it's not met shrink wraps not meant to be doing that so you're going to get a slightly blue tinge to it that maybe doesn't look all that great so I personally prefer not to do that if you prefer to have that look but you're shipping this basket you can always shrink and then back if you want to it's a little bit extra of a cost but we do it quite frequently because we want our baskets to stay together but we also want that look of the pouf at the top okay so the other thing is to make sure you get all the air out if there is air trapped in here it's got to come out somehow and you're going to blow a hole and then lastly don't don't ever hold your gun too long on the sello because you're going to blow a hole no matter what so get used to either a hairdryer or I prefer one of these guns because they're faster but I'm going to go ahead and finish shrink wrapping this so that you can see what the finished product looks like okay so there is a pretty nicely tight shrunk wrap bag you can run your hands through here and you can still feel there's a little bit of crinkling here so just touch it up okay so just don't overdo it because it will pop this if you do the solo too tight it will pop the other thing you have to pay attention to are these sharp corners if you do those too tight eventually this is going to pop right through that right through the shrink okay so here's our finished basket now you can do several different things when it comes to bowing here I have a couple of different types of ribbon typically with this type of a basket we would go front to back like this so that's one way to do it just like that tie your knot that's a black color ribbon jbw has a nice ribbon selection here's a gold put it in the center I'm doing this backwards it's not the easiest thing okay skip this in the center go ahead figure out wherever you want your placement so I'm going to just go ahead and I'm going to knock this right here just like that back in the center nice and neat okay now let me show you how to make a quick debbee Qubo take your ribbon however many yards you want this is about two yards I typically don't like to use this much ribbon but if this is an upscale basket okay even like this right take the center pinch it twist once twice time so there's what we're looking like and then I'm just going to take another piece of ribbon run it through the center like so tie it in the back he use a pipe cleaner for this too that sometimes easier and now you've got hold on let me fluff it up before I show you just a simple little bow it looks like that and then you could attach it on here use a pipe cleaner that makes it really easy but what I'm going to do is just take these two little guys right here tie those through straighten everything out get rid of anything I don't want to see I can't see this very well so hopefully it looks decent here's your bow straighten these out cut these however is going to look good doing it backwards and you've got a beautiful finished basket perfect for a corporate gift easy to do this entire process will take you under five minutes if you rush and hurry up and do it right if you're making a whole bunch of these it's going to go real fast have your bows ready to go have all of your product
