what's up Benson here forward tactics board shop and today I'm gonna show you how to change the bushings of your skateboard truck it's pretty simple but we've had a couple requests so just gonna show you a quick tutorial so let's just get right into it first you gotta grab your skate tool and you're gonna loosen up the kingpin not right there so just loosen that all the way until it comes off it's pretty simple that bolt comes off you've got your kind of like it's kind of a washer right on top of there then you've got your first top bushing this just kind of pops off so right there that comes off then your hanger comes off right there as you can see you've got your base plate with your pivot cup right in there so this is the hanger this is your base plate here's your two different bushings as you can see now you've got two separate bushings you can grab your new ones put them on there make sure you get the right bushings for the right trucks there are different bushing sizes for different trucks so once you get the new bushings off and then you put the new ones on it same thing just reverse process put it back on then you've got your hanger put this little piece right here in the pivot cup and then your kingpin goes right through there then you've got your other bushing that goes on top put the washer on top of that push it all down and then grab the bolt put it back on and you've just successfully changed your bushings on your skateboard trucks so that you can put them back on your skateboard go shred and you're off and having a great time and that's it that's how you change skateboard bushings on a skateboard truck
