hello paul wilson the tile doctor and i'm here to demonstrate how easy it is to install grout using stainmaster tile products stainmaster stainproof grout is not your traditional grout it is suitable for nearly all surfaces and available in current trend colors and traditional colors this includes metallic shimmer and glittering effects and one of the best things is that they're easy to maintain the stainmaster grout color does not form pigments like traditional grout the color is baked into the quartz aggregate this means the color is non-fading color variance is a thing of the past the color will last for years looking the same as it did the day it was installed before you start grouting make sure the floor is completely dry i'm using a green epoxy float designed for the application of resin grouts apply to the surface of the tile in a vertical motion to the tiles and grout joint use good force to ensure a tightly packed joint make sure all joints are flush and full and use the float in a motion like this to remove the excess grout from the joint and tile surface now as you grout you just keep moving along when 30 minutes has elapsed you've got to come back and clean this area and go back the other way okay well let's start the cleaning process now when you get back over the floor it's still going to be wet you got to make sure you know where your feet and your knees are at all times so using your scrub pad that's supplied you want to just drop some drops of water over here on the joints not much you'll know if you have enough when you start scrubbing and seeing the white emulsion you're just moving this moving the white pad back and forth to clean the surface of the tile off alone circular motions are fine no pressure and then you're gonna get your sponge okay one pass across this to clean the haze off one side of the sponge at a time turn it over another side that's done we don't touch that anymore until tomorrow if you happen to be grouting a vertical surface use a spray bottle to put the water on it here we are 24 hours later i've changed my shirt and we've noticed the little haze on the floor that we missed during the cleanup so now we're going to take that off using haze remover process is simple anybody can do it we simply spray it on the surface you can let that dwell up to three to five minutes sometimes it's necessary to use that same pad used during the grouting process you scrub it and you can feel resistance from haze sometimes so that might be helpful and then we're going to use a sponge with clean fresh water to remove that haze remover completely then we're going to dry it and we're going to check to make sure we took all the haze off no haze there we're done it's thin master grout products an easy way to get higher performance grouting results and remember be sure to visit your local lowe's home improvement center to purchase stainmaster grout
