hey guys thanks for joining me today today i want to do something a little bit different uh i have a little trouble here in my truck when i go from my driveway up to a pond where i feed my geese my uh pheasant seat belt belt drives me crazy so i i did a little research in the manual and there's actually a way to make the bell so it doesn't ring and ring and ring and bring so anyway i wanted to show you guys how to do it and it's really easy so stay with me but first i wanted to tell you i do not support people driving without seat belts on in no way shape or form am i promoting that this is just for me on my personal property so stay buckled on when you're driving stay safe i'll see you soon all right guys i'm just putting my keys in my ignition now and starting my truck up all right now i'm just going to drive a little bit so you can hear what the bell sounds like all right there's the bell now i'm going to pull over and show you how to take care of that bell all right now what you're going to do put the truck in park and shut it off all right now the truck off you're going to want to buckle yourself in i'm going to turn the camera around here okay guys now with the truck off you're going to want to go and get yourself buckled in and then you want to take and turn the key to the on position don't start the truck just put it in the the key in the on position i'm going to show you what that's going to look like turn the key into the on position and you have your lights on the dashboard that light up now once that seat belt light goes off you're gonna unbuckle and buckle yourself back in three times all right three times unbuckle buckle unbuckle buckle unbuckle okay last time buckled in that was three times now turn the truck back to the off position there will be a bell that bell means it's disabled now the light will still come on however that bell won't keep ringing let's experiment all right now we're gonna start the truck back up all right i'm not buckled in seat belt light's still on put the truck and drive let's go around the block here at my house turn my lights on and no bell the bell starts ringing in my truck at least when it goes over 10 miles an hour so successful all right guys now i just wanted to uh tell you my truck is a 2005 it worked on my 2003 dodge truck and i also worked on my 2006 dodge caravan so for the dodge products that daimler chrysler puts out this method will work for getting that annoying seat belt alarm to go off i don't know if it works for other trucks but it couldn't hurt to try it's in your uh owner's manual which usually you find in your glove compartment so take a look see what's in there and see if it works for you and also if you guys like this video if it was helpful at all click like it's an easy method i just figured i'd help you guys out you have a good day i'll see you next time
