Please explain how to remove the fly wheel on yamaha warrior 350

hi this is Brian rego from quantum Motor Works doing a quick tutorial today on how to remove the flywheel off of pretty much any series 1990 through 2004 Yamaha warrior 350 pretty much all you have to do to get to this step that you can see in front of me right here is to remove the eight millimeter bolts that secure the ignition cover on as you can see right here after those bolts have been removed you can simply slide it off it's a little tough because it's magnetized so you're at the you know kind of slip it off there's also this shaft here as you can see then after that you're probably wondering well heck how do I get this flywheel off well it requires a special puller the puller that we're going to use today is this motion Pro 35 millimeter by 1.5 thread pitch you're going to need an air source and a heavy-duty impact gun and I also like to use some type of lubricant anti-seize is my preferred lubricant I like to put this right here on the threads the reason for doing this is the impact gun is going to be creating a lot of heat and friction you know from biting on these threads and we won't want to damage them so go ahead and apply a you know generous coat there then go ahead and get your tool slide it on you already want to have this what he called this bolt here already threaded in and sticking out just a little bit inside so go ahead and start throwing it on you want to get a pretty good amount of turns on this at least four all right it's kind of bonding out there okay nice and tight now if you really want to you can go ahead and put a little crank with the fairly large crescent wrench just to kind of you know give it a little crank not always necessary when using an impact gun usually this one right here generates about eight hundred foot-pounds of torque so it should be powerful enough to pull it off we're also using a 3/4 inch drive or a 3/4 inch socket on a 1/2 inch drive so let's go ahead and see what we can do and you can see right there voila fully removed now you're gonna probably going to need that crest wrench again you know the bolt kind of comes off rightly simple but this Oh No see that's a nice thing about using locked or anti-seize lyric in everything comes off with these so take that off there take a look threads are nice and clean the way they should be can wipe this down here to take a better look as you can see got the ignition cover off put the fly wheel off and right here we can see our crankshaft all right thank you for paying attention and if you have any questions go ahead and hit those comment boxes also don't forget to subscribe and thank you for watching
