Please explain how to make cranberry sauce

hi y'all sarah here from budapediva i'm going to show you how to make my cranberry sauce this is perfect for thanksgiving it's going to make six to eight servings it can be made the day before it takes about 20 minutes to make and minimal effort you're going to basically see all my effort that went into making this recipe in this video right now i am zesting the orange i'll put a link to the zester so if you don't have one you can get one it is perfect for zesting all citruses i like adore it and what i'm going to be doing is cutting the orange into horse because i'm going to be using the juice of the orange as my liquid to make this sauce you could use water but i rather use um the juice from a navel orange and um if you don't know i have over 640 recipes that i've made myself tested with my family and i'll put a link below so you can check those out they're all winners if my family tastes it and it isn't a winner it doesn't get published right now i am using this juicer i'll put a link to this below it is the most amazing thing ever you just put the orange in push all the juice and none of the seeds i just love it so i'll put a link to that below the recipe and all the measurements will be below as well i just wanted to give you a visual to how easy this recipe is year after year i have readers say oh no it's just easier to buy the canned stuff yeah it might be easier to pick up the can but you are also picking up a lot of preservatives and i rather just make something really nice homemade and anytime i make this recipe people always ask for the recipe so just finishing up with the juice of one navel orange and i'm going to be adding in the sugar next you can um substitute this with splenda and one if you taste your cranberry sauce and it doesn't have enough sugar you can add a little bit more but i think that's plenty of sugar i'm gonna add in a little vanilla i just love that little extra flavor of vanilla it won't taste too much like vanilla it's just that little hint throw in that cinnamon stick remember to take out that cinnamon stick once the sauce is completed um you just kind of like search around for it and pull it out i'm going to clean my cranberries and i'm going to put the zest in cranberries are done putting it in the zest is in i don't know where to put my bowl do i put it there no no ah there it goes all right so i stirred it a little bit to get the sugar on everything i'm gonna put it exactly at medium heat and leave it alone for 13 minutes gonna come back it's poppin it's getting more condensed i'm gonna give it a little bit of a stir not much just to kind of get the sauce going and see where we're at looking good looking good i love the steam i'm gonna let it sit for another three minutes and give it a stir and you're gonna see how the sauce is really come together you can kind of like reduce it down a little bit more if you want but i like that little chunks of cranberry sauce and here's the finished product i'm gonna take my picture for the um recipe and i stain those wood myself and it's on the floor right in front of a window that's how i take all my pictures
