hi I'm Travis and I'm Nicole where the hitch says in this short video we're gonna show you how to hook up a trailer to your vehicle the first thing we need to make sure is that the coupler matches the ball size that we've selected our couple of years is stamp that fits a two inch ball now we just need to verify that the bottle matches our coupler the ball or Obama is stamped that it's a two inch ball so we're good to go when it comes time to back up your trailer it's going to be a lot easier if you have somebody there to help you this way as you back up you don't have to get out frequently to check your location before you go ahead and start the vehicle you're going to make sure that the coupler height is higher than the ball height give a couple of cranks up here and you'll be ready to go insert the vehicle Oh push-ups Pecola now the vehicle is in the correct position you're going to go ahead and lower the coupler onto the ball you want to make sure that your coupler latches in the fully unlocked position go to church make sure it's poised see you drop the latch down and this is where you're going to want to use a coupler lock or a lot spin like I have here next thing that you're gonna want to do is go ahead and put the chains up underneath the vehicle it's really important that they actually cross underneath the tongue so in case you're traveling down the road and the trailer does happen to come off the ball it won't smash into the ground it'll just land onto the chains I'm going to hook from the bottom of the toe loop and then you're going to go ahead and hook up your electrical now that everything's hooked up properly we're going to want to go ahead and test the trailer lights before we leave there isn't that you're gonna want to do this so you can keep yourself away from the wall and the hospitals Nicole do you want to go ahead and turn on the ignition and headlights good luck trip blinker good right blinker and we're gonna test the brakes looks like we're ready to go you're walking back by the trailer when it makes a double check to make sure everything's hooked up properly and that looks pretty good and raw you have any questions or suggestions Google I said Curt hitch for check us on the web at hich infocomm you
