go welcome to my smiles cover textures today we're going to talk a little bit about how to install a gable on your display showing there are a few different methods let's start with the most common this piece is what we describe as a gable it's also known as a finish panel or a hand down an idea of this is two on the end of your fixture to prevent your product falling off shelves in addition to your gable you will also receive some hardware their various types of hardware for your cable installation we'll look at a few different kinds you may remain on to receive this lower bottom track this fits on the bottom of your gable and ensures that it cannot slip off the base guy who may have also received cable hangers their cable clips come in two different sizes long and short may have received hooks such as this these are also installed on the bottom of the gable finally you may have received this type of the cable clip which is used for an external gable mount in addition to these pieces of artwork will also have received some screws number 5 Robertson's or perhaps wafer screws in any case the installation is the same regardless of the hardware used word complete this task you need a cordless drill a Phillips dead a Robertson better or the appropriate screwdrivers you'll begin by installing an external people this is the most common type of cable when we supply external gaming confits the outside picture of the gondola what your wolf missed you in order to mount the external tables using external cable mounting brackets as well as the aforementioned wafer screws for this you'll need your Philips driver cable clip simply drops into the slots just as this just as a shelf blue and then you bring the cable tight to the upper on the face you're using your wave four screws attach through the pre-drilled holes and bracket there are three bowls provided and for secure fit you recommend you use three screws for right to fix the lower section of cable again we will use the external gable analogy but again with three wafers here's a close-up look of our external cable mounting brackets as you can see it drops right into the slots on the upgrade and it's fastened through the pre-drilled holes using wave four screws there you have it one installed gable the first part of our video we learned how to install external gable to your wall shelving or cheer floor gondola now we'll have a look at how to install an external mean this cable is very similar to the external people except that it is mounted interior to the fixture basic this Cable will sit on the shoe of the fixture as such now work Mel this cable I'm going to be using lowering cable track this is pre-drilled for wafer screws as you can see it has a flange on one side only this flange goes to work interior of your fixture first thing we do press fit the trap on to the ball have the data now using our screwdriver for this film and the supplied waiver screws little fasten this track Thank You the bottom of the view as you can see this flange is on one side of you track holy and this flash will go between the base deck and the shoe trend on your face close a view of the lower track edit situation on the fixture as you can see slips between the base data and the shoot written in this gap further secure the gable we use gable mounting clips supplied with your kit these gable books are installed as such normally we would like to see two hable clips per gig for your second cable clip will apply it near the bottom of the gable this can be done in two different ways you'd like to be able to remove your pin holes and so then the lower clip is mounted exactly the same as the top club with the hook facing down toward the floor if you'd like to mount the gay bolts that cannot be lifted off the fixture easily then the lower gable anchor is turned upside down with the slot facing up toward the ceiling and secured in a slot on the upright and fastened wait wait for screws like so that gives us a secure gable that cannot be lifted easily off the fixture there is one variation to the lower gable trap as individual spangler hooks if the gables that you have are thicker than three-quarters of an inch then rather than using this track you will employ the spangler hooks at the bottom of the gable they work in academic identical fashion to the lower gable track and their home place with the same type of way persky's any one small one nearer to the front of the gable and we'll get one closer to the back to gville as well it's all this cable on the fixture you will use the prongs on the Spangler gets on the Spangler clips in the same fashion as we did the flash on the lower gable track these hooks go in between the base deck of your fixture and the shoe trim as such we are using the same method to anchor the top of the cable you can apply another clip at the bottom your right side up or upside down depending on your preference thanks for joining us
