Please explain how to cut a trolling motor plywood boat

all right today i'm going to be putting a new motor in an old boat this one's all worn out and tired and slow so i'm going to take this one apart and chop it up and slap it in there and i'll show you how to do it first of all you take this screw out that's right here a little nut fell off the inside and you take six screws out like that and your pop top will pop off there's all the action look at all that stuff i don't care about so take a good uh gander at how these all plug back in here take a little screenshot here and unplug them so i ink this out that'll free up all the wires to slide out the tube this will pop off too so now i just have to cut this down to size without cutting these slide this off and whatnot of course so i'm going to get the old motor out so i know how far to cut the shaft so i don't want to have to do this twice or ruin it by doing it once the wrong way so i gotta go drop this out all right so i disconnected all these looks like it's pretty much the same so i'll be able to transfer it over easy without having to redo all this so just loosen this up and drop her out it's a boy okay so i'm gonna make it a little shorter than this one actually and i've made a mark on it somewhere anyways i'll transfer the mark over to here and get to cutting so the smart idea is to use a hacksaw right here and just go through until you start breaking through the layer while your wires are mostly laying down hopefully on the bottom side of the pipe and then you can twist it and just keep cutting through until it breaks free i don't have my hacksaw so i'm going to use this it's gonna be so fun here's an example but see it's really uh some kind of composite cuts pretty easy and eventually you'll be able to see it'll break through to the inner cavity in there like so and that can almost make out wires in there so i'll just continue to cut slowly around see i'm making progress here getting about close to halfway through and uh just kind of hoping to avoid wires so i'm just gonna keep on going nice and slow let's see i'm almost through here just got a little ways more to go so i'm basically through i think and i'm just gonna not push my luck and just break there you can see none of them were even nicked or touched mostly i never even cut much through it just focus focus yeah so then i just have to slide this off the top put this back in that ah good to go so after you yank them all through here you can slide this off then take the rest of this junk off that i don't need i'll save it for another project y'all know i hate throwing stuff away so if you want to see this thing in action see if it's any faster go to my page look up the another video or subscribe and it'll pop up here in a day or two i'm sure i'll take it out today or tomorrow post a video for y'all and i appreciate you watching and subscribing and welcome aboard to all the new people um you're in for a ride we're all in for a ride it's craziness so uh videos on this other boat too and i also have this crazy idea i wanted to run past some of you that like giving me advice what do you think about temporarily connecting the two together to make a kind of a raft catamaran idea just to cruise around and get stability out of both of them and hang out with somebody else and uh i don't know it's just an idea i had taken apart easily or maybe underwater or you can't see they're connected and they're just driving around next to each other everywhere so cute but anyways turn your notifications on if you want to see my videos when they pop up and turn them off if you just want to support me but don't want to watch my dumb vids anyways thanks for watching also uh my long-term subscribers already know this my submarine is getting closer to launch date i just got my sonar hooked up and i've been testing it in this water bucket it's been quite a learning experience it's a pretty cool little piece of technology now that i've gotten to know it a little better so there's that to look forward to thanks for sticking around to the end of the video you're one of the special ones
