so this one and only episode of baking with Phil we're going to talk about puppies regulars every family has their traditions that reminds them of their past making bubbies rudderless the lines of which she went to her positive attitude and her appreciation for what this country's about commit to freedom not all the classic Jewish delicacy is rugged you put in walnuts we put in raised and deepen in raspberries it's delicious so first we're gonna measure out the dry ingredients starting with 3 and 2/3 cups of flour the next we use 2 eggs and one egg yolk so Aviva is finishing up setting 1 lemon which is going to give it that really nice citrus flavor Tami's going to add 1/4 cup of vinegar and now he's going to add 1/4 cup of water the next is Crisco you can do this with margarine we tried it but it tastes a lot better with Crisco and now we put them all together so it's really soft and so after you've got everything mixed in I like to put it in the refrigerator just a little bit before you throw it out and before we can roll out the dough you put a bow okay so this is the fun part now we get to put it together first we're gonna roll out about a quarter of the dough into a circle next we're going to generously sprinkle some sugar over the top of the dough Bobby love using lots of sugar now we're going to do a thin sprinkle of cinnamon over the whole thing as well this Brown will make eight Barilla we're going to cut it into a triangle the classic version is with raisins and moment a napkin is like chocolate chips the lots of raisins in there right a lot I do all right let's roll them up and to finish the bake at 350 degrees and I usually thing out about 18 minutes and they're round so now is the best part we get to enjoy the rugged life and I'm so glad that my kids got to know my buddy and they can carry this tradition on for their kids I'm Phil Weiser and I approve this message
