hey what's up YouTube this is a alex or AKA funky man 47 and in this video i'm going to show you how to lubricate eight sets of bearings and an axle on a motocross bike and this we're going to use it on a day Yamaha yz250 and they all should pretty much be the same it's just in this situation it's how much you put on and once again I'm open to suggestions of either a video response or just comment saying if I put too much if I didn't put enough if I didn't put it a certain way you know I give you permission to troll on my video so I mean but yeah and what you're going to need in this video is uh extra heavy-duty wheel bearing grease by Lucas Oil I am a 17 millimeter wrench ratchet either/or but I have the crescent wrench cause ii find one or a 19 millimeter ratchet or wrench or crescent wrench for the for the removal of the front wheel and also you're going to need a moto stand you cannot I mean you can use a triangle stand it's really very difficult but it would be a lot of you here I mean you can just use like a bucket or something but yeah you're going to need a something to put the something to get the back wheel off and get all the pressure off the front wheel it's still down before though it doesn't matter but yeah and that's what you're going to need so let's get started by taking the wheel if it's not real off hi so now that we've gotten the front wheel was you can go ahead and turn that up and it'll just roll right out nothing special then what's out on my accent I can tell that it's starting to get stripped right here if I get in the video it actually it should be good it's starting to get stripped so I'm probably going to go either either demand Cousteau power sports and order one there but to save gas money I'm just going to go on bike bandit calm and get me a little new axle because yeah that's just perfect you know I'd rather have it the place now than have it stripped out on a race or something like that so that'll be there and now that we have the wheel off let's get started to me vertically alright so what we're going to do now is we're going to remove the spacers and take 180 shop rag get all the access only to involved there those wd-40 48 cuz then it'll try out inside the bearing that's not good so yeah we're just going to kind of clean it out a bit and now we're going to get the up it looks too low extra heavy duties wheel is there injury it can be use greenish color and you can use latex gloves but if you're in a shop to get crap travel little bit looks bigger you see that finger and just kind of don't apply too much republics with a little too much in my hand right there but fine kind of get it everywhere you won't want over three sticks than the relaxer do damage the end every when you're comparing I probably should in future I might order someone boat effects - distort it all balls but you know I gotta ask the L sponsors you know aka my parents and that should be good and now we're going to flip it take the spacer out get a little more grease all right I'm going to reuse this axle because because till I get the new one and what I'm going to do is I'm gonna stretch some brake cleaner on it just to get all the old grease off and since it's gonna bearing won't dry out yeah I can't really say I can't buy vomiting so O'Riley break hearts they're great great parts cleaner and it should get all the get all the stuff off really good and and the reason why you want to use this instead of wd-40 for what I've learned and comments about me if I'm wrong is that the is that it just dries out I get evaporates and wd-40 kind of picked on there it's an oil or an oil penetrating oven that's what I'm alright so I'm just going to do that real quick and let's go ahead and clean these off a brake cleaner because just not really any bearing miss and we're going to reduce them anyway so let's play this off to the chef all right now what we're going to do is is we're going to lube the axles and for this we're just going to want to grab a hold too much through the shaft now that now we're going to lizzi's and you can move a little bit inside right here but the shaft or the axle should be that so we're just going to end up moving right around here okay now that we have everything lubed it is time to put the wheels back on the motorcycle and to do this all you're going to do put the spaces in I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter which side so we're just going to go with that and then make sure you put in the rotor and the brake pad inside cuz you don't you're done that and it doesn't really matter which side just spin it on all right so I got the wheel on finally and now all we need to do is tighten the bolts down and you should be done all right so we should be good now gotta help lighten down not over tighten on under heightened and it should work good now remember pump back your stupid brake I had a lot of trouble with them because they're brand new so they're still really big and I couldn't put the river through that's why there's a big time gap to sell like 20 minutes on and yeah in the next video I'll do the rear because I don't know if this moves and belonged or not it shouldn't be if he's just greasing it but you never know so oh yeah just uh don't forget to comment and subscribe and thanks for watching you
