I'm Kelsey Nelson and I'm here at Wellborn gourd farm and I want to talk to you a little bit about the gourds that we have here at the farm if you come to get your gourds just directly from the farm there are dirty gourds like this one here and there are cleaned gourds like this one here now most of the gourds that we have they are dirty but they are less expensive than the clean gourd so I'm going to show you how easy it is to clean a Wellborn gourd all right so the first thing that you want to do is you want to get some clean towels and you want to wet them so here I have a few towels and I'm going to soak them in this bucket that's been filled with water and it's about halfway filled okay and now I'm going to bring my dirty Gordon and I'm going to just put the gourd in the water okay so as you can see the gourds they do float and that's why we have these rags so you can have both sides soaking at the same time alright so you have the bottom half that's submerged into water and then the top half that you're going to be soaking just with the rags okay so I'm going to let this gourd soak here for about 15 minutes and then I'll come back and I'll start scrubbing okay so now we're back I have been letting this gourd sit in soap here for about 15 minutes and I'm ready to scrub now what you want to scrub your gourd with is just a regular wire mesh pot scrubber alright and so now I'm going to take the towels off of the gourd so I'm going to take the first few rags off bring them out place them over here and now I'm just going to start scrubbing Wow look at how easy is already some enough a few seconds and it's already just scrubbing off so easily like you want to point out that if you were to order the pre box storage that we have online ultima catalog those all come clean on the outside and we are ready to crack once you get the box so that means you don't have to clean them off like I'm doing here because we already see them for you all right and now we have a beautiful clean board in just a few minutes you
