hello everyone crowd aww here today we're going to do a video on how to mix hummingbird juice or feed so this is pretty pet hummingbird instant nectar concentrate it's kind of powder just mixed with water so developed to attract hummingbirds makes 32 ounces of nectar just add water no boiling necessary so this is the first time I've ever done this usually I buy the pre-made Ridge you stuff and just pour it in the hummingbird containers I've been meaning to do this for a while now I've got some hummingbird feeders out on my patio and one is empty form ants pulling it off and the other one it's not getting much attention because it's been sitting out there for a quite a while so I'm gonna make some fresh batch of this stuff and I'm gonna show you how to do it as well so let's get started so what I'm going to do is mix it up pour it in my - bird feeders and then whatever's left if however my said is I'll refrigerate so let's find the container and start the mixing process okay so I've got my container and I've marked it at 32 ounces for one core this is a 2 quart container so going to open the concentrate pour it in as you can hear I've got the water running to get it warm so that may open the package and pour the mix okay the package is now open dump it in okay I have filled it up with water it turned red as the water was mixing with a powder so let me get a little spin or something to stay with that should be pretty good so let me go get the bird fitters clean those out and then thank you this would probably only feel about one of those up so I'm gonna get the one that's empty take it down clean it up and then fill it up with some juice or some bird feeder okay I've taken my bird feeder apart this is the dried up juice i'm peacing to clean out and then fill it up and put it back together nice dude now the bottom Joost bowl and they cover cleaned out just some heart water did the trick didn't run after dunya scrubbing and so now going to rinse this out and load it up with juice but my trusty funnel okay I've got this one filled up not sure if you can tell that kind of dark glass but it's filled up and actually still had enough left to fill up my other one so if he's going to put this one together and hang it up but I'll get the other one clean it out and fill it up too so this is my second hummingbird feeder and you tale is pretty weathered hasn't seen much action it's still just about full so we're gonna clean it up and fill it up and put it out there as well okay run into a little problem the cap which has some kind of little rubber gasket or something seems to have deteriorated so now just got the prize peace bottle for juice and no way to just keep spinning so what I'm gonna do is get some tape to wrap around here to make it a tight fit for the little ring there but I wanted to get the ring out of there first okay so I was able to fix the nozzle or a little adapter there put some black electrical tape around it and it tight I need to tight fit so looks like it's gonna work out faces you'll hang it up and then we'll have to bird fitters done this is the finished product it's one bird feeder and there's the other one across the way they're pretty close together I'd say about three or four feet apart but seems to be holding Nick were just fun thanks for watching
