hi this is Alison with dream a little bigger WWE are you little bigger calm here to show you I'm really quickly the basics of using a tapestry kit tapestry kits are sold at hobby stores this one is 15 and a half by 15 and a half inches and it's made for a cushion and it costs me about $35 at Hobby Lobby you could always use a 40% off coupon and it says complete tapestry kit now what you get is you get this canvas that's painted with the different colors and you also get yarn to go with it and colors matching the colors painted on here you get a large needle it's actually yarn needle with a very large eye that you can use to thread and basically what you do with this canvas is you're going to take your yarn you're gonna pull it through and you're gonna leave a tail of about an inch back behind um next you're going to take the needle and you're gonna put it in diagonally pull through holding to the tail because it will get away from you you're gonna continue this excuse me up through hold the tail so it doesn't get away from you and down at a diagonal right like so you're gonna keep going just like this up and at a diagonal and what you want to do is you want actually wanted to tether down oh hi my money that's Gracie my cat what you want to do is you're gonna tether down your tail so that it doesn't get away from you when you're finished you're actually gonna take your needle you're gonna put it under some of your stitches on the back pull through and you're gonna trim both your tails so that you have a really nice back where you don't have any tails that you have to worry about pulling out
