hello everyone I'm Joshua Clement flighty contractors and today I want to talk to you about how to get rid of that annoying humming sound in your ceiling fan now a lot of times what that humming sound is when your ceiling fan is on it's actually the vibration of something on the fan itself whether it be the sconces the bulbs rubbing against the sconces or even the chain knocking against the sconces a lot of times the humming sound is coming from right here it's not coming from here it's your blades your blades are out of balance which is causing this annoying little vibration inside the motor itself you can use a sink it for your blades one way that you can see if it's your sconces is when the ceiling fan is on go ahead and grab your sconces and kind of pinch them together see if that stops the fan from vibrating and that buzzing sound if it does what you can do is tighten up your sconces or change your light bulbs depending on what kind of light bulbs you have some of them tend to hum more than others I'm Joshua Clement flighted contractors and we just discussed how to stop the buzzing sound and your ceiling fan thanks for watching good luck with this project
