hi my name is David and in today's video I'm going to quickly show you how to customize a polyester t-shirt using ghost sublime toner sublimation is a technology that is used to personalise polyester blanks like this sports t-shirt or this wallet or a polyester coated look in one of our other videos on the channel which I really love you to check out I have a long explanation on how ghosts sublime toner is going to be a game-changer in printing on polyester fabrics one of the things I mentioned in this video is that unlike with other technologies with girls sublime toner you can print your design straight from the screen onto regular copy paper saving the cost for a release sheet for your print so I'm quickly going through these steps with you and personalize this t-shirt for you I already have my ghost supplyin cards in the colors black yellow cyan and magenta inside my HP color laserjet m/45 to printer all cards are in here just double check all right close the printer i insert some regular copy paper into the paper tray I have a prepared full-color design with some little bubbles in red and blue and yellow on my screen this is a regular jpg file you can print with ghosts applying toner using any kind of file from PDF files any kind of software graphics software or just from PDF preview or any PDF reader you don't need any special software or any special profiles you just select your image select the page you want to print and run your print in full color there are no special settings needed just run the print on copy paper I have my heat press over here which is preheated to 200 degrees Celsius I'll grab the t-shirt right here's my print full-color I don't want to transfer it straight like this onto the t-shirt but I want to transfer three lines of that design to the t-shirt so I quickly go ahead and cut out three same sized areas of that design alright that looks cool fantastic so now I have 3 pieces of exactly more or less the same design on regular copy paper I'm going to take my t-shirt and place it onto the lower plate of my heat press I can pull out the plate so that placing is easier for me to protect the backside of the t-shirt from the sublimation going through the shirt during the process I'm going to take another sheet of copy paper and insert it inside the shirt so that my my print will only be on the front side of the t-shirt alright okay fine I've placed that I take my three stripes of the design and place them evenly onto the t-shirt that's what I wanted to look like very good now I'm going to close the heat press and I'm going to press it for just 60 seconds add a medium to high pressure with 200 degrees Celsius and then we're done 60 seconds wait while the toner the dye inside the toner on the print of the copy paper turns into gas without passing through the liquid state the cool thing about sublimation is that you get a durable result that can be washed many many times without any fading because the color goes into the polyester fabric really into the garment that also means that the result is stretchable and especially for sports shirts like this one the result states breathable because it's not covered with any kind of foil it's just inside the fabric there's a huge market for blanks you will find many companies are on the internet and anywhere that sell you great sublimation blanks you can go for most of these blanks with girls sublime toner just test the blanks before you produce an order to find out the right timing for your specific blank once the time is up the outer clam heat press is going to open up automatically for me I'll lift the handle and I just quickly peel off the three pieces of paper from my t-shirt take out the protection paper from the middle take the shirt from the heat press and I'm done this is how easy it is to use girls supplying toner to make a great-looking sports shirt with a fantastic full color print which is really inside the garment you can stretch it really nicely and I even managed to place the three designs evenly so this is how you can use ghosts supply and toner just remember it's the easiest approach to sublimation on a laser printer delivery you'll Oakhurst without the use of any transfer paper but regular copy paper there's no need for special software that you need to use or any special printer driver just print straight from the screen apply it onto your garment for 60 seconds and you're done if you liked the video please leave us a thumbs up below follow our channel for more videos like this check the description below to find out more about the products I have been using and about the process thanks for watching see you next time
