hi there in this video I'm going to show you how to make these copper and tangerine crystal earrings we have great dangle factor and a really nice pattern that goes together very easily so to make this pair of earrings the first thing you will need is some chain here I have some antique copper cable chain with five millimeter links and for each earring you will need two pieces that are three links long two pieces that are four links long one piece that's five links long and one piece that's nine links long you'll also need some head pins one eye pin and ear wire and then for decoration I have these three millimeter copper beads from House of gems and also these two and a half millimeter faceted glass tangerine rondelle's also from House of gems so to get started we're going to make dangles with our head pins and you can do any pattern you like of course but what I'm going to do is three crystals and then a copper bead two crystals and then a copper bead and finish with one crystal and then use whatever method you like to make a loop I'm using the one step looper but you can use just round nose pliers and for each earring you need to make five of those dangles so here I have all of my dangles made and now what you're going to do is put one of these dangles on each of these shorter pieces of chain so use chain nose pliers to open up that loop you just made a Dan end link of your chain and then close that nice and securely and then just keep going till each of these pieces of chain has a dangle on it so there I've added dangles to each of these pieces of chain and noticed I've arranged them three four five four three with the longest in the center in descending order going outwards because we're going to use that in a moment next you're going to take your what single I pin out of copper bead and then add the end link of your shortest piece of chain add another copper bead and add an end link of your next shortest piece of chain the one with four links and just keep repeating adding a copper bead and then the longest link right in the middle and then go back down in descending order bead four links a bead three links and finish off with one of these copper beads and then once again you make a simple loop using round nose pliers or whatever tool you prefer now take your ear wire and by the way these copper ball and ear wires are also a house of gems and find the center link of your remaining piece of chain the one with nine links open up your eye pin and place that through the center link and then make sure that you've got the center so there should be an equal amount hanging down and then close that up and now just open these loops at the end of the eye pin and attach one link of chain to each end and there you have it using the links of chain to get a really nice stair-stepped effect with your beads in a pattern of course changing up the style and colors and shapes of the beads you have will give you a completely different look so have fun creating and making this design your own
