on tonight's episode we're going to be making parsnip and carrot fries now parsnips may look like a cross between a carrot and a potato which sounds kind of funny but they still taste delicious let me show you how it's done so first you take your parsnips you're going to cut off each end and then peel them down then what you're going to do is cut them down into fry shapes now i cheated and bought already cut carrots so i can compare the sizes as i cut them down once you've done that you want to put them in a bowl add a little olive oil salt and pepper and then spread them out on a cookie sheet then what you're going to do is bake them at 400 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes until they're nice and crisp after they're done in the oven you want to transfer them to a bowl while they're still warm and give them a last bit of seasoning i like a little extra hit of crushed red pepper and malt vinegar and that's it see you next time
