The Space Shuttle orbiter was part of the Space Shuttle program from 1977 to 2011. The first Space Shuttle, Enterprise, made its maiden flight in 1977. Challenger, Discovery, and Atlantis followed in 1983, 1984, and 1985 respectively. Endeavour completed its final flight in 2011.
