g'day um my name is kane and um this is a very brief lesson in how to throw a left-handed boomerang uh so this is my boomerang i've just uh recently required just trying to teach myself how to throw it so uh first and foremost you'll see there that there is a line uh there's not one on that side so i know that this is the one that i want to be gripping the side of the boomerang sorry that i want to be gripping with my left hand now you'll see i don't know if you can see that there is a curved side of a boomerang and there is a flat edge the curved side always goes on the inside now when holding a boomerang and preparing to throw what we're going to be uh aiming for is just above those uh trees over there um now when throwing a boomerang you want to just give it a slight wee angle like this now another point to note the wind is coming from this direction so what we're going to do is just going to aim to the left-hand side of where the wind is coming because with this boomerang we are throwing around the wind with the aim of it going past the wind around the other side and returning somewhere where i'm standing now holding it like you would hold a pistol what we want to do is when you let go you want to give this a a flick with your wrist because this side is going to topple over itself as it goes around and that's what's going to create some lift to get this boomerang to go all the way around and return back so let's give it a throw and see whether we can get this boomerang coming back alrighty three two one pretty much spot on and that's a very very very quick lesson in throwing a left-handed boomerang hope you enjoyed it
