hi guys i haven't been on for a while um i wanted to make some seasoned crackers today um i promised them to before thanksgiving and it just got so crazy with thanksgiving and work and things like that so i'm gonna go ahead and make them now um so let's get started okay guys so this is really simple there's no cooking there's no putting it in the oven anything like that um these are really good for like parties and things like this i promise you will want to do this and people will continue to tell you to bring them back um usually you would do these with saltine crackers a whole box of saltine crackers um i'm gonna try it with the club uh the club crackers it's these right here i'm gonna see if it tastes any different um so do a whole box of either club crackers or saltines try them with saltines first i'll get back to you to let you know how they taste with these so a whole box of those you're going to need canola oil do not use vegetable oil do not use peanut oil use canola the canola canola oil sorry i can't talk today you're going to need dill weed you're going to need caraway seeds and you're going to need um cayenne pepper and you're going to need a package of the ranch um hidden valley i guess what is this the dressing it's in the packet um and a packet of that um oh and then a freezer bag like this so let's get started okay so i've already put everything in my ziploc bag so you're gonna need one cup of canola oil you're gonna need one tablespoon no teaspoon one teaspoon of dill weed um a half a teaspoon of caraway it calls for a full teaspoon but i just do half because i'm not a big fan of caraway um same with dill if you're not a big fan of dill you can cut that one in half too it's just personal preference i like dill so um and once again a full package of the ranch seasonings and believe me i'm not a big fan of ranch but i actually do like this combination um and depending on your taste on hotness um my husband likes hot i don't like hot so it's kind of you know sometimes i have to make two different batches anyways um on this one on it calls for a full teaspoon i did a half a teaspoon in this one um so anyways you put it in there you want to make sure this is all mixed up so you just kind of mush it around with your fingers um so all that ranch is kind of mixed in with it i guess so just kind of mix that up real quick and then you're gonna dump all of your crackers in this bag um these easiest way for you to do this open all of your packages before you start dumping these um because it's you want to soak this up as quickly as pop possible and put it in an airtight container um so here we go i've already opened all of my bags um and then we're just gonna dump the crackers in there now as i said before try these with saltines first um i've actually never tried these with club crackers so i'm gonna have to um and you want to close these with as much air as possible in it okay so see it's closed there's a lot of air in it and just pretty much just coat all of the crackers don't be slamming the the bag around because you'll break the crackers but you want to kind of maybe slosh it around i guess turn it over slosh it around but you want to kind of make sure that crackers in the middle are getting some too okay so and then you're going to want to put this in an airtight container um for a couple of hours um and they look a little wet right now but they will kind of i don't know how it works but they will kind of dry out um as i said there is no baking there is no cooking i get that a lot don't you bake them don't you put them in the oven no i do not um you smell so good okay so basically you get an airtight container and you're just gonna dump the whole bag um in in here if you're really really neat or whatever and you want to line them up by by all means line them up do what you got to do um i just dump them in there because and then eventually when i want to pull them out then i will but that's it um i will get back with you guys in a little bit and let you know how they taste okay so i've been letting them sit for a little bit i haven't been letting them sit for like hours on end but i wanted to go ahead and show you these so i can go ahead and post this so i've already tried one and let me see if i can turn it sideways i'm telling you with the club crackers so good um but that's what they pretty much look like the wetness will i know this one's really gross but the wetness will actually soak into the cracker so the cracker won't be wet when these are all said and done after a couple hours the oil and the seasoning soak into the cracker so they won't be wet anyways so um that's it saltine crackers club crackers i also have um a cheese ball that i make and i think i'm gonna make it sometime this week because i have a christmas party to go to um i guess i could probably turn this around um i have a christmas party to go to this week so i'm gonna go ahead and make one of those um these crackers are actually really really good with this cheese ball too um so if you have holiday parties coming up or anything like that you can definitely make that along with these um but that's
